Think about the word CLOSE.
It has two meanings –
Closed - No one can enter. A barrier. A boundary. A door.
Close – you are very near and dear to a person. You know a lot about each other. You feel a special connection to each other. Yes, this can be a group of more than one person too.
Now cascade the first meaning into the second one.
There is a closed space where just the two of you exist. This closed space just contains you two or your group. There, you share a lot of stuff - emotions, words, stories…
In closed spaces, the things inside are necessarily near together.
But no one else can enter there. And in most cases not welcomed. Haven’t you seen when suddenly a third person in the room the equation changes. :)
A door is a tool that makes spaces open or closed.
Door is about access. Who has access to what part of you as a person.
Closed doors are about intimacy. Intimacy carries a level of vulnerability with it. Closeness comes with the vulnerability you feel free to expose.
Closed spaces are in a way divine. Because It is a matter of trust, whom you decide to stay with inside the closed spaces.
You open up in closed spaces more than anywhere else. The trust makes you do it. The freedom make you do it. Closed spaces give you freedom if you really think about it (even in real sense in a way).
Two opposite words are really strong allies – open and close.
What makes you close to someone? It is a process of opening and closing. Ha ha. Opening up more makes you close. Getting close makes you open up more. It is a door after door… And at the end of all the doors, you may find a beautiful spaces where there is no more doors to open up. And now you are close enough. :)
Go Nuts for your close ones!
